At Boxing Management Resources we will take the different elements of the sport of boxing to make the best of its applications by managing those elements.

Boxing Management Resources is in the business of helping the professional boxer have a more productive career.

1. An athlete is going to be more successful when he or she is dedicated to the sport.

The athlete will be more successful when they have a boxing coach or boxing trainer that is dedicated to that athlete. When you have someone with you to monitor your performance that person will help you to identify your strengths and weeknesses. Your boxing trainer will help you with your strength training, your exercise and conditioning and your diet.

2.  Training is the process or routine that is developed for the professional boxer.

The trainer is the individual that guides and teaches the activity (process or routine) that leads to a higher level of skilled behavior. The trainer creates a specialized program of instruction to bring the professional boxer to an increased level of fitness and skill. As I mentioned before the best example is the military sniper.  The military sniper is trained to perform one specific task and that’s to win. The sniper will win by all means necessary. Like sport specific training the military sniper becomes part of his element and conquers it before he steps into the actual situation.

  3. Professional boxing is a sport that requires extreme physical conditioning.

You need great aerobic and anaerobic conditioning. Resistance training also referred to as strength training will help you to have great muscular endurance and strength.  Usually the difference between the winner and the loser of a fight will be that the winner was stronger and faster. Resistance training along with building your aerobic and anaerobic thresholds will take you to a much higher level of performance versus an above average athlete

4. You have to give your mind positive instructions.

The direction of your life will follow your thoughts. You have to imagine yourself in that successful position that you want to be in. You can not have any negative thoughts at all in your mind. Your mind starts to replay negative situations when you give it the negative thoughts. You shouldn't even say to yourself that you will not do this or that. Those are negative thoughts. Tell yourself everyday that today is going to be a great day. Even if you think you know better than that, tell yourself anyway that today is going to be a great day. Tell yourself that your are going to have a great day at the gym, and no matter what the day was like tell yourself at the end of the day today was a great day.

5. Building a personal Brand!

All sports promoters are very serious about what they do. Their job is to create the best show or production using the best possible talent. If you have not been identified as the best talent then it’s your job to make that fact known. Personal branding is one of the biggest opportunities that you have. You’ve got to create an influential and believable personal brand.  In today’s society, in the professional boxing, or mixed martial arts industry building a personal brand is not optional.  Nike, McDonalds, and Microsoft to name a few are all very well known brands. Your job is to create a professional, likeable, exciting brand called “YOU”.

Because of the internet and technology, you can do just about all the same things billion-dollar brand names do. Like I stated earlier Nike, McDonalds, and even Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods are all well known names that you can easily follow on the internet. Creating a brand isn’t just about technology, though. By focusing on delivering result in everything that you do , you can make your brand memorable, and opportunities for success will follow.
